Yeah. They've done that for as long as I've been purchasing equipment from them (at least 10 or 15 years, though probably far longer). It's never deterred me at all. Their prices are fair, they don't end sale prices until well after they reopen, and in the grand scheme of things, it's a pretty minor inconvenience. Setting a reminder to go back in and order once they've reopened is quick and easy.

Agree that Lenovo is terrible with updates , but Samsung is terrible with bloatware , so neither ar really imo.

Most low end Samsung tablets I have used have such junk installed on them that they become practically unusable out of the box.

This will be usable for a year or two and then become e-waste.

I have the predecessor to this (M10) that mainly gets used as an app development test device to represent old phones.

Screen isn't too bad, but boy is it slow. I haven't benchmarked it but my ancient Pixel 3 XL (released in 2018, 7 years ago now!) feels considerably more snappy in comparison. I would not recommend this tablet if performance of any kind is even the slightest consideration.

my Lenovo Tab M8 (3rd Gen) won't bc it doesn't have WideVine apparently?

literally just need this as a media streaming device for kids (netflix, hulu, etc)

Issues... specs are just too low.

If I would buy a budget Android tablet I would look to get

Does that detract from the user experience? As long as it functions, doesn't lack any notable features, and still receives security patches I think 99% of people will be fine with a different V# buried in the "about" section of the settings menu.

Wow this is cheap, can I buy it solely to setup as a digital photo frame? I've never used android tablets, It seems like just a little more $ than other 11inch digital frame but u get a tablet
