This is close in price to the other front page deal last month seen here (you had to use a limited promo code to get it): https://slickdeals.net/f/17844702-noco-boost-plus-gb40-1000a-ultrasafe-car-battery-jump-starter-63-95-more-free-s-h-w-amazon-prime?attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue&src=SiteSearchV2Algo

Amazon has the GB40 on sale for their Black Friday deals at $99.99. So this is a really good deal. I was tracking the GB20 and was considering buying it from Amazon but the GB40 is even cheaper through this woot sale. A great thing to have in your car's trunk just in case!

This is a great deal. I bought the GB40 from Amazon in 2019 or so and it was close to this price.

Got the GB70 last year for 130 at Fleet & Farm last year this time. Highly recommend, it's a great investment and will give you complete peace of mind.

How does this jump starter compare to the avapow 6000A for $49 deal from yesterday?

And it's still kicking? A lot of the reviews I read of these jump starters is you really only get a handful of jumps before they fail. I want to be wrong about that.

Wish the usb-c one would be 50% instead of 25%, but I'll buy as I don't want any USB-micro devices.

6000A is crazy big and not necessary for a normal car. I would question if 6000A is accurate or not, but we've bought both AVAPOW and NEXPOW jump starters in the last couple of years with the NEXPOW being used frequently due to an undiagnosed alternator issue in our Honda, and they've always worked when needed.

My logic is to buy a cheap brand with lots of good reviews/ratings and if it fails down the road, buy another and your STILL ahead of the cost game compared to the more expensive models.

There are obviously people with deeper pockets who always buy "the best" first, but as a Slickdealer, I'm naturally frugal. Smilie

Bought my GB40 Nov. of 2021 and had couple of other brand jump packs that crapped out already and trashed.....my GB40 has started so many vehicles and still kicking right now, still looks new and no signs of wearing, very reliable jump starter.

I'd buy the NOCO over the AVAPOW in a heartbeat.

I've had my NOCO for years, used it to jump FedEx trucks all the time when I worked there and occasionally random people at work and still works great. Would never go anywhere without one.

I bought mine December 2, 2019 and it is still in use. I keep mine in their NoCo foam cases. I have two or three GB40's in my cars and one GB50 in my sequoia with the big V8.

I check their charges as regularly as I can remember and these NoCos have come through clutch several times.

Each one has probably jumped a dozen cars. I love "whipping it out" to help folks.

For some things, cheap is better but for items that you need it to work and reliable then a slick deal on the best is what we are after. Imagine being stuck on the road and need a jump start and it does not work. Can't buy another cheap brand and wait for it to be delivered. This price is basically 2x cheaper but knowing it will work the first time
