Good for what?

For $120, what do you think?

This will be good for browsing the web. Word processing.

Code worked. This thing seems decent for having around the house for basic emails and watching videos. Wouldn't recommend for much else. Great price though. CCC shows closer to $300 earlier this year

Decent deal. I'd jump on it but my gift recipient wants a touchscreen.

Bought this for kiddo to access school apps at home for more practices. Works well for that and basic browsing. Tried to run Roblox and it was unplayable.

General demand is much lower than 13-15" means far fewer selection (Acer and Asus) and a higher percentage of units has to sold at sale/clearance vs. regular price, so not much enthusiasm from the manufacturers or retailers. I did get that Asus 17" N4500 4/32GB for under $80 in 2022. Same CPU as OP's Lenovo with respectable speed, RAM/storage a bit low, huge 67Wh battery and a great deal. Fanless means I don't have to worry about blocking the vents like my Lenovo 17" Core i5 (bed, couch and other soft/uneven surfaces).

It's commendable that we're seeing more budget Chromebooks with 8GB RAM. ChromeOS and its components, Android VM and apps, websites have steadily increased in RAM usage. Many recent posts on /r/chromeos that disabling Android VM on ChromeOS makes their 4GB Chromebook much faster and capable of handling more than 1-2 Chrome tabs (and sometimes outright restored their Chromebook from being unusable). Sure the screen is TN, but it wasn't long ago that an 8GB Chromebook rarely dipped below $200-300.

Was he running it on the Android App? Works best for a Chromebook.

This is an old and slower version of the 3i. N4500 with only 220 nits. Maybe good for a child. You can get a better deal on it eBay. I suggest getting a Chromebook with 8GB of RAM. You can get a newer processor i3 N305 that has 8 cores for $199.
