Two of my three most recent pencil purchases the ring has delaminated and fallen off. Pencil still works fine, but I almost feel the need to use nail polish or something to replace the trademark red collar.

depends on your need. This is the cheap version of the 800. It uses Parker style ballpoint refills- gel options are expensive. If you write a lot you won't use this over an acroball or G2, but it will look really smart sitting in your pen cup.

So, not 600 pens. For a minute there, I was surprised it wasn't already sold out.

Do you know if this will take a pressurized fisher refill?

What's the difference between 600 and 800? One has a gold accent - other than that?

Yes it does, I run Fisher Space pen insert SPR4F in mines. Also, Schmidt 9000 easy flow

This pen with the Jetstream 0.38mm refill is my go to job site pen. It's basically indestructible and writes soooo nice.

G2 bleed so much why do you use them

The 800 has a retractible mid tip.

This feature is highly useful for a mech pencil but kind of weird for a pen. The pencils have thinner tips that can poke holes in your pockets. The pen tip isn't too thin. I think the 600 might be the better pencil though since the tip has less flex.

I prefer the rapid pro pen. I have bigger hands so the 600 feels thin on my hands. My 600 also has a cap that rattles Frown. It annoys me.

The problem with the rapid pro is that the midsection that screws into the top of the pen is plastic. I can see it breaking while the 600 is all metal.
Didn't realize 600's came in so many colors. If they were cheaper I'd buy em.

I prefer energel for gel options. I like the metal bodied pentel pens like an alloy. I do have big hands though, the barrel of the alloy is quite thick. They do make smaller ones. The downside is the gel ink runs out faster than a regular pen. I like the tacky gold one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072DXSF6S This reminds me of the free pens from local banks trying to be classy back in the day.

Rotring 600 is a nice looking pen though though not my favorite.

Try the finer point and/or better paper but it just may not be the one for your writing style

Mont Blanc Meisterstuck, rOtring 800, and Pentel GraphGear 1000.

Beautifully engineered writing tools. But they are no longer in my possession for the past 6 months.

Now I am happy with any ball point pens from work.

Why is this better than an $8 Zebra F-701?
