I saw somewhere that fabric softeners (any brand) do hurt your washing machines by sticking itself everywhere. Any truth to that?

I'm picky about scents and especially how our clothes and bedding smells. I ordered this stuff the last time around. I find that it is equal in providing softness equivalent to Downey or Snuggle. The scent is strong but not overpowering. I doubt if you would need those ripoff fragrance beads using this stuff. I like it and reordered at this price.

I bought this the last time there was a deal, and it's terrible. I should have stuck with Downy like usual. It smells bad, and I was afraid of continuing to expose my kids to a Mexican brand fabric softener that might be toxic. I hate that I wasted money on this cheap crap.
