This is a Coca Cola water. Years back, Coca Cola used to make their billions with their sodas. These past few years parents have been telling their kids to not drink soda, instead, drink water. It's healthier. So, Coca Cola goes to work to sell water. But no, they make this water acidic so people get thirsty after drinking so they'll drink more and more, so Coca Cola gets their billions back. And they call it "Smart" water. It is smart indeed, for them. So, the past year or so, people are getting smarter and discovered the difference between acidic and alkaline water. So, Coca Cola made an alkaline version of this, charging us more than the non-alkaline version, because they were getting slaughtered by Essentia+, and other high pH waters like Core and even my favorite Qure. And they make their water 9.5+pH to compete with Essentia+ although our body balanced pH is 7.4. Coca Cola is a company that focuses more on their bottom line and their ESG score and not the consumer's health. I specifically ask for drinks not made by Coca Cola when I'm at restaurants and bars. Anything but Coca Cola.

buying "Smart" water is an oxymoron. There is nothing smart about paying this much for distilled water.

FWIW, for applications other than drinking, adding electrolytes back defeats most of the reasons for using distilled water.

I don't get this product…distilled water is to have extremely pure water but is not typically suitable for drinking due to removal of fluoride, electrolytes, and impurities. Advertising distilled water+elecrolytes= normal bottled water(not tap unless they add fluoride)

I use distilled water for things like my steam iron and humidifier or cleaning my TV screen, this product should be renamed as it's going to cause confusion among those who don't read the label carefully.

Correct. Adding electrolytes negates distillation. Aka lab water.

The pH of any of this is largely irrelevant, when the liquid hits your stomach acid it will become extremely acidic. Stomach acid is one of the 6 strong acids so it'll drop the ph quickly.

Feel free to hate coke some more.

Your favorite water Qure is purified TAP WATER that is infused with races of naturally occurring ionic alkaline minerals and electrolytes. Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium added for taste

The water costs $50 for a 12 pack of 1.5L bottles, literally the same as Icelandic, but is tap water that is alkalinized and minerals are added for taste just like Kirkland water LOL

Oh no I don't pay anything retail… that's why we're Slickdealers Smilie

I use my middle fingers very effectively toward retail pricing on almost anything. We all should. Example here: https://slickdeals.net/f/16145530-qure-water-premium-10-ph-ionized-alkaline-bottled-water-silky-smooth-taste-infused-with-electrolytes-16-9-fl-oz-500-ml-pack-of-24-17-42?attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue&src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

Getting a bad product on sale is NOT a Slickdeal i think you missed the point

1. Qure is MUNICIPAL TAP WATER that is purified (does not mention how they purified it, which is already a bad sign)

2. Qure has NO natural source of water making it a bottom tier water regardless of price - see Essentia - high pH, high priced municipal water from Nestle

3. Qure then alkalinizes the water and adds electrolytes and minerals for taste including the ones mentioned right on the label

4. Qure is pricey even on sale - offers all the same benefits as Kirkland/Sams alkaline water with none of the marketing BS

Rather drink Icelandic at 8.4 natural pH then touch Essentia or Qure (one of 100s of municipal alkaline waters)

There's an insane amount of misinformation in this thread.

As someone who works in an industry including, but not limited to, bottled water, I'll try my best to dispel all these weird comments:

1) TCCC started selling water is a smart business move. If people are moving away from sugary CSDs to bottled water, it makes sense to put yourself in a position so that you're still making money. Bottled water is cheap to manufacture & has a high profit margin on it. It's a no brainer.
2) There's no acid in this water. Look @ the ingredient list. No idea where you got this information from.
3) TCCC Got on the alkaline water craze because, again, it's a smart business move to get a piece of this action to.
4) You're body may have a "natural" pH balance of 7.4 but that's not what's happening in your stomach. What do you think happens to your alkaline water (any water, really) when it reaches your stomach?

You're spot on on this & the amount of downvotes you're getting is unfortunate...

Water will vary wildly from where it's sourced. Some water has much more TDS & thus a higher mineral content & higher pH.

Removing all dissolved solids by means of distillation or reverse osmosis and then adding back minerals means you can create a product that's consistent no matter where it's being produced. They're removing all variability. That means it tastes the same no matter what state you're buying it from.

There was a product on Shark Tank that reproduced this process for more consistent coffee making. You dissolve a packet of trace minerals in distilled water & make coffee with it.

That all said, it's $0.65 a bottle. I'm picking these up because I like to make these available to delivery drivers who stop by the house.

I"ve been me long enough to get hate for forum comments. I'm also a "professional" chemist, many years of analytical experience, I appreciate the comment and the more verbose explanation.
