MUCH better off waiting for regular Instant Pot Electric PRESSURE Cooker 6-quart size ($50-60 on sale) , which makes rice as well as top-rated model (and made in Japan) Zojirushi rice cooker that I had (and found articles which agreed - you gotta search for honest, experienced, non-snobbish, and non-affiliate-link cash-grab authors, tough to find...). ALSO, the Instant Pot (pressure cooker) makes BROWN rice MUCH FASTER than any rice cooker (including Zojirushi).
(PLUS all the other game-changing things an Instant Pot does,
PLUS solid stainless steel pot that will last forever - no peeling/chipped non-stick coating after a year or two,
PLUS avoid any potential health risks from aluminum pot or flaking coating...)
