That's not deceptive. Why do you think you would get to keep the credit if you returned the device? Pretty much all retailers do that when there's a bonus gift card or credit attached to a purchase.

Really hard to pull the trigger at this price when you're buying this kind of tech and you know it's not the best. Will just wait until I can get a Quest 3 cheaper. I'd maybe buy this if it were $250.

Amazon deal is deceptive. From the product page:

That's not deceptive. Why do you think you would get to keep the credit if you returned the device? Pretty much all retailers do that when there's a bonus gift card or credit attached to a purchase.

It has its own version of an app store. Go check it out for productivity apps. They're probably not amazing in VR because using one for more than a couple hours per session is absurd. VR tech really isn't that great yet regardless of what companies will lead you to believe.

PSVR2 is basically discontinued at this point. There are very few games for it and no new Sony first party games in the pipeline. Quest 3s is a budget version of Quest 3. PSVR2 has OLED screens so that is better but it is tethered, while the Quest 3s is wireless. Quest 3s has no headphone jack. This is an OK deal if you already own a gaming PC but you would need a powerful card like an RTX 4080 to take full advantage of the 4K resolution. If you have the money, then go for the Quest 3. If not, then you are probably better off putting the money towards a better monitor or a better video card. If you only own a PlayStation and no PC, then PSVR2 is a better fit. Just my opinion.
