This is one of my favorite boardgames that I have taught dozens of people. It is unique because I can scale up to 7 people on it and it doesn't change the play time by very much. Best expansion is Leaders. This is a great deal!

It's not an easy game to learn. There are a lot of rules, but like others said it's a great game. Good amount of strategy and interaction with other players without resulting in arguments. It is definitely one is my favorites, but I tend to play it with my other board gamer friends. The very casual board gamer (will choose to play taboo/pictionary over a strategic game) may not enjoy this due to the learning curve in the rules.

7 Wonders Architects is also on sale for $35. The gameplay is simpler which has been great for the kids who love it.

I respectfully disagree. I found that the game was easy to learn, but it did take a play through to get a good feel of what to do. But that may be because we tend to play more complex games in general. However, I will absolutely agree that it is not for the super casual gamer.

There are rules for playing with 2 players, but it does require alternating who controls the fake player.
