Nice. Had an 8600g in my cart waiting for the price to drop. Thanks op
Putting this in a new NAS build
Not the best idea for gaming though, just in case anyone's wondering. Reduced number of pcie lanes in the g chips

Should only buy one if you're ONLY going to use the igpu. Otherwise this cpu is lame.
1. Less cache than a normal Ryzen. You don't want "less" for gaming.
2. 16 PCIE lanes.
3. PCIE 4.0 only. Not a huge deal for most people, but 7000/8000 series normal ryzens have PCIE 5.0.
I have this 8600G. Works perfectly. Extremely Fast. Using DDR5 7000 too. No Problems.
Plays Online FPS at 100 FPS. No stuttering either.
Ignore the naysayers. It's a beast.
Your right, I am using it in my stand up arcade machine and it is one of like 8 computers I have around doing various things. I bought the 5600G not 8600G after double checking I was mistaken. That machine plays games like Pacman and Galaga ETC so I don't revisit the specs or revisit upgrading that PC very often
Note that the 30% off quoted is only relative to the list price, which it hasn't been since early June[keepa.com]. Rather, it's less than $10 off compared to what it's been going for since early September.
