Anyone have this and can speak from experience? What's the difference between this and the pro for almost $200 more?
I've been a big fan/fanboy of this printer. I bought mine several months back off an eBay deal for $240 that was posted on SD.
For PLA printing this works just as well as the pro.
The pro is better in other areas. If you want to print materials that need an enclosure the choice favors the Pro. FF offers a kit that allows you to print/assemble an enclosure but isn't not as good as the pro and still will run about $70 in the end.
The enclosure also reduces noise which is a plus. The fan on this printer is on the loud side.
Just a note, many reviews said you can do network printing via Orca slicer. That was true at launch but addressed since then.
Getting my first 3D printer- mainly for the kids. Trying to decide between this, the AnkerMake M5 and the Bambu A1 (or mini). Everyone seems to say go with the Bambu.

just get the bambu. A1 mini combo or A1 combo (with AMS)
I've had this and returned it. Seemed like a decent printer but it was very loud to the point where I avoided using it if I didn't feel like I had to. This was also an enclosed brick space, so maybe it'll do better in other places

Go with the Bambu. I'm a 3d printer enthusiast. I've buying custom printers. I also have a modified Bambu p1p and it's been a reliable workhorse.

What is your price point and is multi-color important to you? If not, I think this is a better printer than the A1. However, I will offer this guy's side by side where he concludes the A1 is the better option (but not at $240 vs $300). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3v_dHLkai8
I've had this same printer for a while now and it has exceeded my expectation. Running on Klipper, using octoprint with the 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle. It's fast, really fast. Print bed adhesion tends to fail if I send the print from octoprint and start printing automatically. I now send the print, but start the print manually with the full bed levelling checked prior to printing.
