Highly recommend you guys get controllers at Costco. The joycons are known to have Drift issues. I was able to return mine for full refund even after a year because of the life time warranty on them. Just my 2 cents.

Who is repairing for free? And what issue? I have 1 joycon with non-working SL button and another one with the infamous drift that makes it useless.

I know Nintendo is being awesome and fixing drift for free. But does anyone know if they'll fix anything else while they're in there? I didn't realize stupid Mario Party you have to use the joycon and I just discovered a pair of mine the hidden L&D buttons don't work. They're also drifting so I was going to send it in anyways.

And it appears they're only $5 more at Costco currently.

YMMV.
I had a Right controller where the trigger button wasn't working and sent in, and they repaired (or may have just replaced tbh) free of charge.
Sent in a Left controller for loose stick and they sent it back unrepaired citing normal wear and tear.

theyve had a known defective product for years, yet their fans praise them for "fixing it for free"

they could have "fixed the product design"
