If I get the gist here correctly that this thread is dedicated to cheap Amazon 4K discs that have clippable coupons, here's a few others you missed:

The Big Lebowski - 20th Anniversary Edition [amazon.com] $9.65 AC

Field of Dreams [amazon.com] $9.45 AC

King Kong: Ultimate Edition [amazon.com] $9.92 AC

I have to say that this has never really made sense to me. 4k is a resolution, not a measure of lens quality, player quality, and TV quality. I would suggest Bluray.com and see the audio/video reviews of the Blu-ray and 4k to see the differences. You can buy a $50 4k camera that shoots in 4k, but looks worse than DVD 🤷 ♂️ Just saying…

Amazon [amazon.com] has The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital HD) for $10.99 - $3.66 when you 'clip' the coupon on product page = $7.33. Shipping is free with Prime or on $35+ orders.

Which of these stand out to you guys?

Are old movies like Jurassic Park worth watching in 4K?

I'm using a 65" LG B2 OLED and a PS5 (I know)

It's really more about which movies you want to own physically, so you can watch them whenever you want regardless of whether they're currently available on your streaming subscriptions. And if you want them in the best visual/audio quality available.

Everyone is different but these would go in my collection:

Jurassic Park, Oblivion, Dredd, The Suicide Squad, Backdraft, The Goonies.

Oblivion and Dredd and The Suicide Squad probably most visually impressive.

I get a kick that site is called real 4k vs Fake 4K then it says:
"Keep in mind, age has nothing to do with quality, classics shot on 35mm such as Independence Day, Lawrence of Arabia and Ghostbusters can have the original negative film scanned at up to 6K."

The quality isn't in how it was shot, it's mainly in the transfer.
Two of three of those movies are a good example, they are not a good transfer but fall under Real 4K(native)!

Some people should just google things before responding like idiots

Grab Backdraft. It's a great 4k disc. No brainer for $10.

Well the transfer does matter tremendously, but a 2K DI can never be real 4K period. Not saying there aren't enhancements of the transfer being brought to a 4K disc because obviously there's no compression, and you have Dolby Vision, plus potentially an Atmos track etc..... So I think that's what that site is going for. Like these video game consoles that advertise 4K gaming, but rarely play any game in native 4K without workarounds and such.

That being said there are some 1080p Blurays that are superior to their 4K's which just shows what a bad transfer is, and those should be highlighted to simplify that list. For example there should just be a "Do Not Buy" list. This giant multi-page list does little to help without a full on rating system of the video quality, because that is the most important part of any 4K disc purchase.

Perhaps a new list that simply rates video quality from best to worst?

Yes, all that list tells you is what resolution a movie was shot in.
It really has nothing to do with the audio side.
Labeling them 2k(fake) or 4k(real) is misleading.

When talking about "4K" content, it's almost always transferred to HDR metadata.
If not(very few) that list has some relevance. If so, that list becomes irrelevant.
I own around 150 4k disc, only one is a 1:1 transfer, The Others.

Not sure I've ran into 1080p content being superior to 4K but many that the quality difference wasn't significant.

There are sites that rate the quality already(ie bluray.com) and they all don't come to the same conclusion.
So some master list would be impossible, defining best to worse quality varies for everyone.
