Helps a lot thanks. I think I'll go with these over the polarized and save some money.
Yeah I was torn between them as well as the photos I saw online looked like they were much lighter. Indoors they're basically opaque/black. Outdoors in direct sunlight, yes I can see my eyes but not anymore than my true black lenses of my other non-rb sunglasses. I think you'll be pleased as well.

Never received my $90 digital credit, reached out to customer service and with a 2 min chat they refunded me $97.33 which worked out way better imo.

Good deal and I enjoy taking walk around pictures and some fun videos with kids/Dogs (besides having them as perfect sunglasses). Some other advantages - perfect for sunny walks listening to podcasts. No need for headphones/earbuds etc. I also found them useful while driving. It's better for taking calls when your car has terrible road noise problem aka Model 3. Some AI features have gotten better like reminders, describing something or summarizing text. They aren't heavy and never felt taking them off due to wearable fatigue.

Have had these since launch. Great sunglasses, very meh speakers, and the camera is surprisingly useful.

They aren't as creepy as is seems, as they have very limited recording times and there's a lot of effort out into making sure anyone paying attention knows they are recording.

Other than just being good sunglasses, I've found them super useful when my hands are full and I need to snap a photo (driving, biking) to remind me of a store or a sign.

The speakers are too quiet to replace headphones, but are good for quick voice command feedback to answer a question or start an action.

At under 200 bucks they aren't much more than regular raybans.

Also Meta is still constantly updating these things even after several years. Improving battery life and connectivity and adding features.

What the fark. You don't expect privacy in public. You are nothing but stopping the technology advancing. YOU DONT HAVE PRIVACY IN PUBLIC AND ANYONE CAN FILM YOU WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. Speak with a lawyer.
Just because the law hasn't caught up with technology doesn't mean it's OK to harass the public with cameras everywhere.

Had them. Returned them. Pretty stupid looking and I felt like a creeper so I got rid of them even though I was only using them for the music while biking riding. Whenever I see someone wearing them I instantly think they are creeping. Also, if you buy them for the music the volume is super low and not worth it.

Mine got delivered yesterday without the $90 credit. Thought returning it but after a chat with Amazon CS, they were kind enough to issue me a $90 gift card.
I literally got them a day before the promo. Good to know I'm going to contact customer service too.

As it should be. These are creepy as hell and I'd just avoid anyone recording me with a pair of these.
Legally in the US it's completely legal to record someone in public areas. I mean do you trust store cameras spying you at malls?

US laws state that it's completely legal to record people in public and you have no right to have privacy in public

Did you use them as your Daily driver? Aren't they super heavy?
