RAM is not upgradeable and this is a TN panel, not IPS.

How do you know ram is not up-gradable and panel is TN? It's $300 now. =) I suppose staples couldn't sell them. I wonder if staples will go under. they shouldn't be cheaping out like this.. sigh. would have bought it if ram was upgradable and is IPS. maybe fire staples management for being low IQ. =)

If you read the Q & A, the question about the rAM not being upgradeable and about it being a TN panel were both asked and answered. Also, this model is a year old, it was originally the 2023 Black Friday model when it was $399.

I'm not sure what your complaint about "they shouldn't be cheaping out like this" is about. Best Buy also has cheap models and more expensive ones, just like Office Depot does too. What does this have anything to do with the IQ of the management? Every store out there sells cheaper laptops for cheap.

Calling Staples management low IQ whilst you can't do a basic google search or read the Q&A on the product page is wild.

Also, Staples "management" likely doesn't have much to do with what laptops they procure. Yes, it's a company in decline, but these deals are pretty typical at Best Buy or other retailer.
