Seems like a great deal for someone looking for a 43" 144Hz LED computer monitor. Curious to see if the image quality is good for text. Scrolling and motion should be smooth.

Also there is a 50" available for $398.

Decent deal for a 43" 4K 144hz VA. The equivalent Samsung "monitor" has been frontpage at $400 many times, and I'd rather have this with Google TV versus Samsung's Tizen crap

Hardly any reviews, though. Unclear if it does 4:4:4, but VA at this size is rough for PC desktop use due to the viewing angles. And only two of the HDMI ports are 2.1 (with one also eARC)

Who makes the panel is the question.

I agree. My desk is roughly 30" in depth. I will place this on an articulating mount as my viewing depth will be greater than 3 feet from my seating position making an 43" a good size based on seating position.

I was considering the 42" LG C3 refurb but didn't want to spend over $600. This seems to be a great alternative as the Oled will come down in price next year.

Guys the 50 inch was 328 originally the day it came out check the price history. I have been watching this TV since the 50 inch came out. The day after it jumped to 398. Could be the 43 was cheaper before.

now it's 328 for 43 inch deal is dead also

The 43 is OOS thus you see the regular price of $328. I am sure that the price will go back to $268 before BF or even lower. I am sure the 50 will be reduced down as well. What makes this a decent deal is the 144 refresh. Most MLed's and Oled's have a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh. I am sure we are bound to see 240Hz within TV's by 2026. It's hard to believe there are no 4k 240Hz TV's. I prefer TV's over monitors. IPS and VA panel monitors look washed out compared to a MLed or Oled TV.

Yea true the out of stock price hopefully it stays like that the good price. I was just saying the the 50 inch day one was 328 then got jacked up to 398 not out of stock. Perhaps this TV was also jacked up. I guess save to list and wait.

Philips and Magnavox TVs in North America are licensed to Funai since around 2009. TP Vision has the license for Philips TVs in the rest of the world. Philips PC monitors and audio globally are licensed to TP Vision and it's audio subsidiary MMD.

One big note for anyone looking at these TV's as monitors:

HDMI 1
ALLM
HDCP 2.2
HDMI 2.0

HDMI 2
ALLM
HDCP 2.2
HDMI 2.0

HDMI 3
eARC
HDCP 2.2
HDMI 2.1
ALLM

HDMI 4
HDCP 2.2
HDMI 2.1
ALLM

HDMI 2.1's are only available on HDMI 3 and 4.

VESA shows 200x200 as I am trying to find a desktop articulating mount that is compatible. If anyone has an articulating mount please share this within the thread.

Looks like a good deal for 144hz at the 43" size. The TV is on the thick side (3.6 in) in case any one is assuming this is a thin tv.
