T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).
I got a cellular modem for $40:
https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.
Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.
If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan

The autopay discount doesn't apply for the plan..
What number do I call
This basic Internet plan with 30GB data barely for less than a year, you claim you had this for a year.
Read the description, no Autopay discount clearly states the the plan description
I have this plan my dude....
MI30TI.
I specifically asked for it when I signed up.
Proof of the plan name + auto-pay discount here: https://imgur.com/a/cApFOMp
If you can't get auto-pay working, that's on you (maybe you're using a credit card instead of a debit card?). It works fine with this line.
I don't think I had luck using this in Canada.
I'm a Canadian temporarily living in the US and am keeping my Canadian service ($25cad/30gb unlim CAN/US + text/call + pixel 9 at $0).
I just needed US local data just in case my Canadian one gets canceled for roaming 24/7 + to have a US texting number since some services area code check and I can't validate with my Canadian number (Venmo and banks 😡)

And if you're still not believing the auto-pay and the fact that this plan has been around for over a year:

Both in chat and on phone the rep was able to waive the fee, but indicated that that wouldn't be possible if I wanted to activate it in store, they have even higher fee.
