T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).

I got a cellular modem for $40: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.

If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan Smilie

Have had this in my pixel 9 and previously pixel 8 since like July. I use it in conjunction with $96 annually US Mobile plan for the unlimited talk and text. also when you sign up in Costco etc they often have second line for half price.
What number do I call

Does anybody know if this would work in an RV if I'm camping under a cell tower or is it only for a fixed location /address? Maybe a stupid question but I'd like to know if anybody knows that before I spend the money or start the process

You may have other plan, not this one!
This basic Internet plan with 30GB data barely for less than a year, you claim you had this for a year.
Read the description, no Autopay discount clearly states the the plan description
I have this plan my dude....
MI30TI.
I specifically asked for it when I signed up.

Proof of the plan name + auto-pay discount here: https://imgur.com/a/cApFOMp

If you can't get auto-pay working, that's on you (maybe you're using a credit card instead of a debit card?). It works fine with this line.

Are you saying this plan works in canada?
I don't think I had luck using this in Canada.

I'm a Canadian temporarily living in the US and am keeping my Canadian service ($25cad/30gb unlim CAN/US + text/call + pixel 9 at $0).

I just needed US local data just in case my Canadian one gets canceled for roaming 24/7 + to have a US texting number since some services area code check and I can't validate with my Canadian number (Venmo and banks 😡)

And if you're still not believing the auto-pay and the fact that this plan has been around for over a year:

30gb doesn't last for 12 hours by just watching ads.

Doesn't work with phones and tablets to my understanding
Not true. I had it for many months. I have 3, two in the phone and 1 in a mobile hotspot.

Would like to know too, does anyone know or can confirm this?
No, but it does need your SSN for a credit check because it's a post pay plan

Great deal, but not worth the hard credit hit. The agent over the phone couldn't approve without a hard credit pull🫠
It's not hard credit pull for me. I signed up 1, then signed up 2nd+3rd for 50% off on the 3rd. Not hard credit pull for me. Did not have line with TM post pay plan for more than 15 years.

I had this plan and it was utter garbage. it has the lowest priority vs other plans. The infimobile deal is better at $99 a year and priority data.
I am still using mine I got last year, no issue with data speed or coverage. You probably not in a good TM coverage area.

I would get two lines but I believe the autopay discount is once per account.

Both in chat and on phone the rep was able to waive the fee, but indicated that that wouldn't be possible if I wanted to activate it in store, they have even higher fee.
I have 3 lines. 1st line is $10, 2nd line is $10, and 3rd line is $5 (50% on second line when adding 2 lines). I pay $25/month for 3 lines
