T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).

I got a cellular modem for $40: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.

If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan Smilie

Might be interested in this plan as well...
Does anyone know more? Thanks.

I think business plan would make more sense since it has international roaming. Is ZB10HSTI right soc code for $10 business plan with auto pay?
Also can you buy this plan at Costco or via chat?

I was offered this w/free (24 months bill credit) Samsung A9+ tablet for $10/month (tax included) when I was getting 5G home internet for $30/month (with $200 Visa card rebate) thru chat back in early October.

I have 2 phone lines (ONE Plan Unlimited 55) ($70/mo,) Home Internet ($30/mo,) and 1 data line ($10/mo) for a total of $110/month (tax included) auto pay with my checking acct.

Home internet works pretty good so far. I hardly use the 30G data line at home so it's still a bargain for me just for $10 extra a month and a free A9+ tablet.

As a note -- if you already have 8 lines on a plan, that exhausts your $5/autopay per line (it's to to $40 off) and you will not be getting another $5 for adding a data line.

Since these can be standalone, can you get 8 standalone on their own?

Can you clarify? Tax exclusive can be stand alone? Or is tax inclusive the one that's stand alone? Or both are stand alone's?

if you don't have an account yet you can sign up for these as stand alone. TI would just be charged $10 tax is already factored in, TE will be $10 plus tax what ever that is in your state plus fees, this is for old accounts that have not signed up for the TI plans. You will never be able to sign up for MI30TI if you have an account already that is TE, they wont combine a TI plan and TE plan together. So if you don't have an account yet you should do the TI plan. I have years old plan that is TE so I wasn't able to sign up for the MI30TI. The one I got is MI30TE which is $10 plus $1.40 tax and fees

Because your address have to qualify for the 130gb backup internet.
I tried getting for my main home which has great 5G and it say not available.
I was going to try for this and use it for my secondary home which barely has signals.
Surely if it wasn't available for my primary home, it wouldn't be for the secondary.
I heard people are able to move that backup internet anywhere but Tmobile has the ability to stop that anytime.
The key here is if it's available for your address, get it.
This internet is good for everywhere you can get a signal.
I just signed up the backup plan (130GB) for an uncle. He doesn't have internet at home but he's been using his phone for internet (hotspot); his line is on my family plan. I want to set up some cameras for him and get a voip line for him but using his phone as a hotspot is a PIA for all these connections. I was able to get it for $15/mo, they're shipping the whole router / gateway to his address next week so I'll help him set it up. I don't have autopay discount on my voice lines (legacy SC plan) so I doubt I will be able to get it on the internet backup plan to drop it to $10/mo. Yeah he's just using this at his house so it's well worth it for just $15/mo for 130GB.

Thanks OP! I was able to call Costco T-Mobile, and they actually had a BOGO 50% off promotion going on, so I got two of these lines for $15 with no activation charges or start-up charges
