Printed in the USA using Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing technology.

DTG tends to sit on top of the fabric to a degree and will feel rough initially and soften over time. Dye sublimation, on the other hand, is the typical method for mass produced graphic tees and since the fabric is literally dyed, it doesn't fade faster than the material itself, and won't crack over time like screen printing and DTG.

This is still an amazing price for a custom color tee. In for one.

I don't work in the shirt printing business. Without any of that knowledge is there some obvious indication that "lasering" a shirt would be more expensive than other printing methods?

DTG will crack to hell and peel off within one year depending on the amount of washed it's put through. I do this for a living and I phased out DTG for DTF long time ago.

Thanks for posting. Quality of the shirt doesn't matter at this price. Found the most embarrassing photo of my best friend that's in my phone and slapped it on this shirt and it took 20 seconds. Will wear it out in public next time I meet up with him and it'll be worth the five dollars even if I wear it one time. This is an opportunity people. How can you NOT use this deal if you get free prime shipping.

I went to all the trouble of editing and getting the photo to work, entered the number of T shirts I wanted, only to be stopped from ordering only a single shirt in spite of it telling me multiple shirts were ok.

DTG is the standard for one-off custom designs. It may feel kind of similar to screen printed shirts which is hands down the most common method for mass production. Sublimation only works on polyester and high-polyester blends and is very common among hobbyists.

I agree with others that this will likely have the same quality as a woot shirt, very possibly printed on the exact machines, since woot is Amazon. For $5 why not throw a picture of your kid or pet on there for fun. lol

It's DTG which is basically like an ink printer. It's not as rough as iron on, and when washed properly (inside out, cold water, dry on low heat) should last a while. But it really depends on their printers and quality of ink and as far as I know they don't pretreat their garments so I'd expect these shirts to last about as long as the woot shirts do, which is not long. Still, for $5 for a custom shirt, it should make a nice gift.

you can get them from temu all day for around $5. Got so many and they're all perfect. They also do custom mugs, pillows, etc all at 1/5th the price of US retailers

its ok i can get them from Temu for $5 and they come out perfect. You can EVEN RETURN them lol... free shipping with $10-$15 in total items. They also do mugs, pillows, keychains, custom phone cases (got a few for $3)
