I quite agree. but make sure your laptop can output 2k - unfortunately some budget laptops won't output 2k

I tend to avoid 1080p monitors above 24", but for some people this may not be an issue. It does have a 120 Hz refresh rate and some decent reviews, so probably not bad for a budget gaming monitor.

It does not look like it is VESA compatible. So if you are planning to mount this to an arm it will not work

I disagree at 1080p IPS with caveats. You need space to set the monitor back and haven't experienced above 1080p.
VA on the other hand, tends to be grayish and washed out. It's all relative if you've acclimated to newer resolutions.
