the 110 does have better water protection. as for the weight difference I cant tell much of a difference. these are both heavy speakers. both can take a beating. the 110 i use around the pool and the 100s i use around the farm.
normally its the 100;s that go on sale for 199 not the 110.
I would get the 110 over 100 just for the extra water protection

Oh nvm, it was the essential partybox which was great.. these 110 were great when I have 2x last year when I own them. Might pull the trigger when AAFES have them again
