These are decent trail running socks, suitable for winter and summer. I think they are cheaper in-store, so it's time to stock up for 2025.

These are my daily socks. I bought an extra pair the other day as part of another deal. after getting them I realized they all had a gray line on the top on the outside. I double checked and none of the other dozens of socks have that so I ended up returning them since they would have been a mismatch to all the other socks I have. Now that I look closely online, I see some of the pictures show that gray line at the top and some don't

You didn't do very well in chemistry class did you? Acrylic is just another type of plastic, so they are 80% plastic, which is in line with most socks at this price. There are compromises no matter what material the socks are made from. 100% wool is great but expensive. 100% cotton holds sweat and gets soggy and stays that way as long as you have them on. Socks that are mostly synthetic like the ones posted wick moisture well and are affordable, but they are synthetic. The perfect socks would be well-made, 100% wool and cost $3 a pair. Let me know when you find that.
