Just bought this. Picking up in store tomorrow. I was able to stack the $40 visa gift card offer for orders over $250. So essentially $360. Would have liked a touchscreen but feel like this was best deal I've seen for the week or so I've been looking .

Correction: this does have a backlit keyboard. It was disabled by default.

Build quality feels cheap. Overall, the laptop is ok for the price. I'll keep it, though I think I probably should have bought a higher quality used machine for less.

Be sure to read the fine print, my non-chase freedom Office Depot cashback says up to $10 max, so this is less than using chase freedom's 5% Q4 cashback using paypal. Paypal also has a 1% cashback offer on officedepot that you can activate, also don't forgot other cashback websites.

I got the laptop last night from local store pickup.
Setting it up for my CIS undergrade kid and its lightning fast compared to my worklaptop Ryzen 5 5XXX with 48GB ram.
Installed a couple of softwares for Java programming and they all open and run very fast.
Complaints so far
Touchpad feels flimsy and makes noise when tapping
I wish the display was more brighter, even though it says 300nits, my 2016 macbook pro is very bright and is a very old panel

This deal was too good to pass up. The best I could do to sweeten the deal was 5% back through PayPal with my Chase card & 6% back from a cash back site.

Add 6% cash back from those cb sites, 5% paypal cb using chase freedom (if you have it) and 1% paypal cb. I ordered one for shipping. They have 14 day return window in case there is a better deal.
