Same here. It's really frustrating
For me the 20% off military discount was never applied (couldn't figure out a way to "select" it as an option). Intead, the 25% cash back option was automatically applied to checkout after signing in to IDme.

From my memory going back years, Office Depot 20% coupon off has always restricted computers from applying

I plan to use external monitors and not carry laptop around. Is $152(after tax) for 4 year protection worth it? I already get one year manufactor warranty. How likely is it to get speaker/sound, battery, or hard drive failure?

This is so bogus. When I checked out the laptop, it's already at $399.99. Added it to the cart, and the total was $399.99 + $25 tax = $425. When I added the coupon, the price of the laptop in the cart jumped up to $439.99 so after the coupon it is now $399.99 again. That's some shady sh*t.
The 'coupon' is just nullifying the original cost of the $40 gift card. You should get the actual $40 in your email.

Power delivery means you can charge other devices like a phone or a tablet from that port on your laptop.
Just set mine up today, it does in fact charge through USB-C. I would return it if it didn't.

Does the 25% cash back apply to electronics?

I believe it does, but I'm not 100% sure. I ordered the computer and it was applied to my cart, I think it said something like $48 cash back. So, as far as I know, yes it does apply to electronics as well.

But 25% of $400 should be $100 not$48!
