If you're looking for a basic upgrade from an older Fire Stick this model does just fine while adding support for 4k services/content.

However, I've been disappointed by the performance of this device using VLC on high bit-rate local network content. An edge use case for some, but definitely disappointing since I was coming from a much older (non-4k) Fire stick.
