I also have 2 60v blowers, and I thought I was the only one. I dual wield them*, and wrangle my leaves like an Airbender. The admiration I get from my neighbors and random passerbys is unmatched. Maybe I should buy this and find a way to secure it between my legs or something.

*The shoulder straps are clutch.

I saw the chainsaw deal with 2.5ah battery was available again and was considering buying it for the battery alone.
This is much better for me, thanks for the deal.

Dang maybe I had some bad luck there
No, I am with you. My refurbished unit from BB was in terribly used condition. Greenworks didn't even bother to clean it up or sanitize the unit before marking it "refurbished". The unit arrived with scratches and mud. I gave it another chance and ordered another one. Hope I'll get a better one.

Do not buy anything from Greenworks~! This company has notorious manufacture warranty policy, once your tool malfunctional expect at least 1 month battle with their customer service. They do not honor their warranty~! Here is BBB complains on Greenworks, avoid like plague~~

I realized a small bracket was missing on my lawn mower like 2 years after I bought it. It worked fine, but had a hard time maintaining the height setting after going over a bump. I thought it was just a design flaw till I was cleaning it one day and realized a part was missing, and probably had been the whole time. Contacted them and they said they no longer make that model and could not replace the very simple bracket. They ended up sending me a brand new mower with at least 1 new battery. I was then able to 3d print a replacement bracket and now I have 2 working mowers. I think their warranty and CS is great. I have like 11 GW 60v tools, and am very pleased with all of them (although I have never used my pole saw)

I have used Greenworks warranty twice for two batteries that failed after a year. Both times, a quick phone call to a pleasant Canadian got the job done.

Here's the best and lightest gutter cleaning tool compatible with this 750 CFM blower. Only 135 gram . The only blower kit that can clean 2 story high gutters effectively.

I have the 21 in. Self Propelled Cordless Brushless Lawn Mower with 5Ah Battery and Charger Model 2509802 1 from 2020. Is this battery interchangeable?
My understanding is the batteries are interchangeable if the the voltage is the same. My mower is 80V so it can't use the 60V blower battery.

I have the less than $100, 80v 2.5AH Refurb blower from last eBay deal(Not this 60V one).

I want to provide a data point from my exp.

Its fall now. It's the best time to use this.

When I run it at 85% of full speed, the battery doesn't last more than 30 minutes.
More like 25 minutes or so.
But my unit was a refurb one. Not sure how good the battery was from my day 1.

I was able to finish my front yard within like 20 minutes.
And I spent another 4~7 minutes on my drive way but the battery was at 0% before I could finish my drive way. I did get most of my drive way done, not just 100% done.

The recharge time is about 40 minutes. The recharge unit fan is very loud. It's best not to recharge it in where family members would be present.

Thanks OP. Don't need the blower as I already have 3 but it was a no brainer as I need the battery.

Haven't noticed this at all. Had a bad battery for my mower and within a few days I had a brand new battery sent to me. I have had great luck with them.

Anyone with experience using both the Greenworks and EGO blowers have any quality comparison insight they can share?

80v much better.. trust me. I've used both
I'm completely the opposite. Many more options with the 60v and my 60v mower has been an absolute monster. Used my neighbors 80v and noticed no difference at all.

I came from EGO to Greenworks because I scored a crazy SD on a mower. I still have some EGO gear, but primarily use Greenworks now. I have been very happy so far.

EGO blowers are so dang loud! I use ear protection with my Greenworks but it's not ear piercing like the EGO.

This is because they're likely the same exact motor. People just assume 80 > 60 and it's stronger, but it's never that simple. 80V would have a higher theoretical limit, but none of the tools produced come anywhere near it(and if they did, they'd run hot and not last long). Heck Ego is considered by many the best with their 56V stuff, and Ryobi 40V often goes toe to toe with the other brands.

Go with whichever you get on sale, or, as you mentioned, I believe 60V actually has a few tools that never made it to 80V, though nothing I'm interested in.
