This is an incredible deal! I am still very happy I got my PD3 from them back in June for $2,600. That was the best price until this week

Chase customers can get 5% back on PayPal payments. Only up to a certain amount, but that sweetens the deal.

Also, don't forget that they should be tax deductible up to 30%. That's my understanding at least. Not a financial or tax advisor.

Yep, only up to $1500 assuming you haven't hit it already, or a total of (up to) $75 back

This at least maintains some semblance of portability (and it can still power demanding 240V loads like welders, plasma cutters, etc), where the Ultra is geared more for permanent installation and expandable 'whole-house' backup. Depends what you want.

Depends on what battery capacity you want and how many solar panels you want to connect in series. I think the pro is limited to 150v and 1600w of solar panels. Ultra has 2 solar ports, and one of them support 450v and around 5kw solar panels

Prices of solar, lithium batteries and solar generators are falling faster than I can believe. It wouldn't surprise me to see this at $2k by Q1 next year.

Pro 3 actually has two solar ports as well, but one is low voltage (up to 60v/800w). I think the Ultra's "low voltage" port is 150v, not sure about the higher voltage one... probably north of 300?

Tariffs will push that out a bit, unfortunately.

Woah, if you got this price 6 months ago then it shouldn't be at current price and should be cheaper! I wonder if holding out for few more days worth it or not...
