Oops! This comment below was for the 50lb dumbells.

Great deal for what it is. Not incredibly durable but adjustments are easy and work well. I ended up returning mine for the powerblock because and able to change weights without having to put it back in the cradle. But for the vast majority of people, and if you're careful, these are pretty good. Especially at this price

Edit - I thought these were the ones that went to 50lbs, not just 25. I was mistaken and the vast majority of people should get the bigger ones

How durable are these things? I've been looking at a couple different adjustable dumbbell options, and there are always reviews saying "broke after x months".

I bought the 52.5 lb version on sale a few days ago. I really like it. It probably not the best but it's well built and I have no complaints. If you only need 25 lbs this seems like a great deal.

they are going to be recalled, look at the consumer affairs website, they came and picked mine up to use for the research.

I would 100% skip on these. If you do a little research on Amazon/Walmart for reviews. Facebook also has them with similar pricing. You will notice multiple version that look identical just different name brand. They all come from China and are poorly made due to plastic holding the weights. The original price is overinflated to make it look attractive when on sale.

In addition to the other negative comments, keep in mind that like the Bowflex dumbbells, these are their maximum width, no matter what the weight setting, making them super awkward to hold during many exercises. I much prefer the designs of the more expensive selectable dumbbells such as the NordicTrac.

I bought a pair of the 52 pound version of these. They do exactly what you would expect and work with no issues. In fact, I bought a second set so I have one in my basement and one upstairs. I've had them for a while. When they first came one of them was misaligned so it didn't adjust properly. All that was required was removing all the plates one time. No issues since and I use them regularly.

I've been using the 52.5lbs version of these for a year now and have been pretty happy with them. I like that I can change the weight with one hand (rotate with wrist).

There's a recall on some iFIT adjustable dumbells.

Its likely they're confusing vendors in this case. It would be illegal to sell a recalled product anyway

Snagged the 5-50lb adjustable set back in June at Walmart on clearance for $50 each. These Black Friday deals are being more and more overshadowed.
