I purchased the 50lb version of these a year ago through walmart. Walmart sent out an email notifiying me that they were recalled due to the weights slipping off the rod. When i called to ask for a refund or replacement, Walmart denied that they were under recall and basically told me "too bad".

Yes, i have not heard back from them but they said it could take 4-6 weeks.

I have the BowFlex ones, and they didn't offer a warranty as mine were too old. it was not worth it to send them in to "get a low $ credit".
Also, there was a video on YT showing a "fix" for BowFlex types, so YMMV depending on the design of these.

I wanted the 50s, but I guess these will do in the interim. I'd probably just hurt myself with the 50s anyway.
