i had this issue with my brand new $75 Target Pixel 2, I opened a warranty claim with google, they quickly sent me a new one and have had no restart issues at all.
Yeah with the 10% Prime Visa cashback making this $130.50, it is really an incredible deal. Google Store doesn't even come close at $179.99...even with one of the 10% discount coupons, you are still looking at $162.
I always like buying the newest model, but these have the exact same processors and GW3 has no real significant upgrades other than a slightly better battery and a brighter screen.....not worth paying OVER double the price of GW2.
I've had this watch for almost a year and my rating is neutral. Good watch but battery life is just barely acceptable. The new WearOS rollout was causing brick issues so it's halted for now. My verdict: It's okay.
I've used both the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2. I used the Pixel Watch for 8 months and the Pixel Watch 2 for over 13 months. The Pixel Watch 2 makes it through an entire day and some, but it might not make it through the entire day if I do two workouts or go hiking for the day. It does charge quickly, so you can throw it on the charger for 30 minutes to get around a 50% charge. I'm trading in my Pixel Watch 2 after my 45mm Pixel Watch 3 arrives tomorrow.

I recommend the 2R. It's bigger than the pixel 3 watch, has a larger battery and longer battery life. Its $160-something in the Oneplus app. Just install it and buy. Might be a coupon around as well. I paid $161 plus tax a few months ago
Just no LTE option, wifi only. Which is fine, I'm not paying xfinity $10/mo to share my phone data with it.
No real downsides, you get all the benefits of the PW 3 at a PW 2 price. Has google pay and all of the goods. And 2-3 day battery life, depending on screen on time and various fitness/sleep related stuff like spo2 testing and breathing/heartrate issues.
Bonus? You get all of the fitness and sleep stuff for free, there's no subscription involved.
I thought about the OnePlus 2R and not being able to use the crown to scroll became a deal breaker for me. For the life of me, I can't understand why it would have it and not do the obvious with it.

I found that the place where I used that (in applications), and they have several app views that make that unnecessary IMO. One has every app as a 'ball', one has an active scroll list, and there are others. Made scrolling easy/fast or unneeded.
It's about the same as using your Prime Visa which gives you $14.50 cash back. But I suppose tax on $15 might make the discover option better. Though discover is doing 5% back at Amazon so if that stacks with the $15 coupon then that's a better deal.
Galaxy Watch 7 or Pixel Watch 2? Hmmm... tough decision
Apples and oranges. I can't say the reverse is true but the samsung watch health apps (heart rate and such) only work with a samsung phone. The pessimist in me thinks this probably the case with all the brands but I can't say for sure.
Not worth it. It has constant random reboots (especially during workouts) that no amount of factory resets will fix. Pixel Watch 3 is the way to go, fixed it all.
Yeah it makes sense to take the watch off before you beat your meat.

Ordered mine on November 29, still not even shipped. I chatted with Amazon and they told me "it has to come from another warehouse", the delivery date changed twice already and today the charge came off my bank, pretty sure they will just cancel the order though it shows 14 in stock when I look at it.

I just got one and updated to the November update immediately and haven't had a single issue whatsoever.
