Appears to be Fire TV, not Google.

i bought this last week and am really happy. The firetv interface is snappy (and has lots of space left after putting my apps on it). It also pairs well with the hisense 5.1 sound bar offer yesterday.

Just so you know I believe the R series isn't QLED. Expect the picture quality to be lower.

You might want to double check to see if it is

very noob question

what is costco's return policy on televisions?
Tv is not considered as an electronic and you can return it up to 2 years.

This 75 inch QD6 from Costco or the 75 inch TCL Q691 from Costco?
If you can get the TCL Q691 for 399 I would get that . The lag they talk about isn't as bad as they say. I guess it would bother you if you spend all the time flipping though channels and not actually watch anything.

How often do you change channels and can you live with a sec or 2 delay?

Only you can answer that.

The alternative is to pay hundreds more for the same specs and that extra second you gain.

Costco is great for return so if you really don't like it then return it. You also get 3 year warranty.

Yeah looks to me like the TCL screen is better than the Hisense QD6. The TCL does 600 nits while Hisense does 400 nits...that's a noticeable difference in a living room...

I can tell you that it's very bright out of the box. I had to lower the backlighting to almost have.

Honestly you're crazy if you don't give it a try at 399. As long as you realize you're not getting Sony picture quality at that price

Oh if you are still looking for someone, I'm in SF but work in Sunnyvale.

I already placed the order for the tvs and can share the receipt for warranty.

This 75" for $450 or the Q691 75" for $599 online (none locally)? Having analysis paralysis.

Just curious how that would work. Would both Tvs be under the same membership? Would they deliver to the same address? Would that person have to be the one who returns the TV if needed?

How would the warranty work if needed.

Unless you can separate everything then I don't see how it would be worth the $50 .

Hopefully you can explain it. I'm really curious

Given that choice I personally would go with the $450 one and if you don't like it then return it.

Best Buy
Hisense has a newer model 75" Class QD7 Series QLED than the TCL Q691 for the price of $549 that you could consider if you want a better tv
