Thank you for the link, the vendor you listed definitely has the best price. WX242 is a nice upgrade, it fixed all the shortcomings of WH240 and added some nice features. I liked 240 better then Denali (nicer body, comes with a toolbox) but didn't like the idea of paying more for 1.5Ah vs 2Ah battery. This version is pretty much perfect and well worth the price difference.

I just ordered one.

Yeah, it's direct from China but a real store that's a front-end for many different sellers. Things take maybe 1.5 weeks to arrive, but otherwise it's fine. Pay with PayPal to protect your CC number if you are worried. You'll get a lot of emails from them. If you are a new customer, they have different coupon codes or a "Welcome Deal" that lowers prices but makes it so you can't stack other codes. It's a bit of a process sometimes to squeeze the last buck or two. They also have "coins" that are tricky and hardly worth it for an extra 1% discount. You can also see what cashback monitor will do for ya, maybe another 5% or whatever you use, if any.

If you eyeing that Walmart one, get the "Holiday" version that has a better bit retention system (well, better if you don't want the bit to fall out when you are pulling out a drill bit from wood but worse if you like to effortlessly remove bits held in by a magnet). The Holiday one also has a 3 year warranty instead of 2 year and five extra longer bits for the same $15 (3 cents more than the one you mentioned).

I looked at and touched both versions at Walmart and found the clutch adjustment to be difficult (but maybe that was because it was in its packaging). They both have a weaker 1.3ah battery than the 1.5ah in the WX240 ($22) or the 2ah in the WX242 (~$30 Aliexpress). I don't believe any of them have a variable speed trigger even though the Walmart one says it might in a youtube video. I don't know how sensitive the clutch is in these Walmart ones (I didn't buy one). I know for certain the WX242 I bought a few weeks ago has a nice and sensitive clutch on the lowest setting (maybe not for tiny eyeglass screws, didn't try, but personally tested to be OK for laptop case screws without stripping).

I deliberated on these electric screwdrivers for a while, decided on this one because the adjustable torque settings seemed worth the few extra bucks, and also because it's not readily available in the US, and since we never get the good shit I figured this was the one to get.

I'm not sure either but I think worx is packaged better and was cheaper so even I went with works. I also did not want something too strong, honestly.

I only know that the WX242 can accept precision bits using the included 1/4 inch hex adapter.

Edit: This WX240L does not seem to include the precision adapter. Probably will strip precision screws using the lowest 2.5 Nm torque setting too.
