You're overthinking it, says it's the Visible+ Annual plan which is $395/year taxes and fees included so you're basically getting the iPhone 13 for free.

How to get a plan with visible to try out before committing to this deal for 1 year? I have unlocked samsung A54 from Total wireless deal and Visible says it's not compatible. Verizon says IMEI vill work.
Visible is no help sofar and says purchase new phone from them at $450 when A54 total wireless cost was $80.

Only if the visible + is requirement for you, its fast (my area) but I dont have that speed requirement watching netflix on the train commuting..

the straight talk deal (same parent company) is prob cheaper if you dont want to be on visible+

Dumb question - is it possible to get this deal for 2 years instead of just 1? I know there's already a separate Visible+ deal out there where you can get locked into $35/month for 2 years, and since I don't necessarily need an Iphone 13, I was wondering if I'd just be better off getting the 2 year plan instead of the 1 year + Free Iphone plan.(Since it wouldn't be good if 1 year from now they jack their prices up)
