I tried to order this with an existing account and it doesn't work, have to port in number from another supported carrier.

You're overthinking it, says it's the Visible+ Annual plan which is $395/year taxes and fees included so you're basically getting the iPhone 13 for free.

Ok yeah if you choose new number it won't let you do the deal. I'm trying to port in my kids Apple Watch number but I'm not sure if that will count.

Visible is one line per account I believe, so you would need to create two accounts.
