I got BBY couple weeks ago to price match and also got a $260 trade in for my Mini 6. Net of $140 was fabulous to get double the RAM, double the storage, faster chip and has Apple Intelligence also. And brand new battery is great of course along with end of life extended a few years.
If you're not trading in, this Mini 7 is well worth the $100 difference over the Mini 6 for reasons above

I just checked with best buy to check if they will price match they refused stating its limited time so its not applicable.

and

amazon they don't price match coupons.

Question. What is the different between iPad mini 8.3-inch, 64GB, Wi-Fi (6th Generation) and Apple iPad mini, 128GB, Wi-Fi (A17 Pro Chip). Pro chip you can use the pen that's but not the 6th gen? Which is newer? Thank you!

No it was not cellular. Was 64GB WiFi Mini 6 from couple weeks ago. Sorry I didn't state when it happened. Guess their trade in prices are dynamic which makes sense since the Mini 6 prices and values have dropped recently

The regular iPad is a poor man's laptop with drawing capabilities. iPad mini is a literal phablet that does well w one hand operation.

Really depends what you want. A lot of people find if they own a laptop you don't end up using a normal iPad. Many of us that enjoy the mini use them as an extension of our phones, among other uses.

When costco had this deal a few weeks ago I successfully got Best Buy to price match. I just had to talk to 2 different reps. Costco is an official competitor they call out that they price match.
