For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Just made a new email and account with hulu. Everything was good until I added my payment and it detected I have an account with that payment. It then changed it to full price! Find a way around this let me know.

I started watching something. I watched the ad. After the show started, I tried to adjust the volume with the arrow keys. The video jumped back to the beginning and started playing the ad again. I cancelled the subscription. Waste of a dollar.

Hulu is one of the worst offenders for ad load. 10-12 mins per hour of content is way above Max/Netflix's 4 mins per hour. Almost certainly why they're practically giving away this plan.

Use a VPN I keep having the problem too earlier until I used a VPN for some reason it worked

FYI. If you have Spectrum Cable you may be able to get Disney+ with ads at no additional charge, you can then get Hulu with ads aswell for 1$ a month. Or you can do Disney no ads and Hulu no ads for 10$ a month.
