For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Well that explains the hoops I had to jump thru. Had to log out of current active account then used OP's link. Deal popped right up & let me use an inactive account from 2 years ago.

Edit: Nevermind. it looks like if you were a subscriber in the last month, they're saying ineligible. whatever.

odd. my sub just ended a week or so ago. I should fall into the category of eligible returning customers. But it's only showing full price, even with the click through of "get this deal". Maybe i need to make another email...

AdGuard but I cannot vouch what they do with your traffic. I use them on my phone. They block all site based ads but do not block streaming. I do not know how it would be on the router level with them. On my phone I see zero ads on any webpage I go to.

From my experience it only works with a new email. I tried emails from the past and it didn't show up.
