For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

I am not willing to pay to watch ads. It's cheap, sure. But the ads are hardly tolerable.

I canceled my $2.99 for 6 months 'please don't go ' offer I got last week from last years BF deal! I chose the Hulu & Disney one for $3 monthly now. Thanks!

Of course. I took the 6 month deal when trying to cancel and just NOW it switched over to it before I noticed they finally added this deal.

So I basically wasted $2 on that and then will have to do this one with my other accountb and waste another $3. So i wasted $5.
