For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

If I get the ad version, does it get cheaper to jump to no ads later? As good as a deal this is, I don't want to deal with ads

You might initiate a Chat session on the Hulu page and see if they would refund the full price charge for the month, worth a try.
They won't, same happened to me

Do the ad supported versions of Disney+ and Hulu have HDR content?

Did this last time, I found Hulu with ads unwatchable and even canceled the .99 subscription. The ads were extraordinarily intrusive and some were even interactive ads so the show wouldn't continue until you chose a selection to some dopey ad question. This made it impossible to just mute the commercials and wait for the show to continue. Unless it's changed since then I can't imagine being excited for Hulu with ads even for free.

Really wish they had deals on ad free. Ads coming to the streaming services was the worst thing to ever happen. When streaming first started with all the various companies, having no ads for a low price was the ultimate escape from cable. Now we are full circle, with full ads. Hulu is fine, but why are their ads the worst, and always at max volume.

Might be able to acquire a code if not a Disney Insider.

Make a new email/payment for this account and you can get the Hulu deal too. πŸ˜€
But that's only 3 months no?

I'm looking for a whole year, I watch sports and I love espn+. All I see is a year for $100 or so.

That time of year again. Add a number to the end of your email address. Clear your cache and cookies. Add a new payment method. Then watch Hulu again.

Learn how to use a router to block all incoming ad traffic. Google the method.
If you add a number to your email does it generate a new account with the new +1 email? My subscription from last year expires today. I forgot I even had it until I got the reminder email last week

Can you share login info with family, or does it block you like Netflix?

Do they do a commercial-free version of this?
I was hoping for a deal on the ad-free duo as well... sounds like the answer is no deal just regular price? Frown

We haven't really watched TV much, but thinking of getting something so we can stream occasionally, especially for our 6 yo. Is it worth it getting the Disney plus deal over just Hulu for kids?
That's kind of a strange question. Are you asking if a 6yo would find more stuff on Disney+ than on Hulu?

Now that Starz is back, I just need Prime Video add-on deals to come back.

Last year got two months of BritBox for like $1 per month, which was great.

BritBox themselves currently have a sucky Black Friday deal, two months at $4 per month.
If you have Amazon Prime, the Britbox price is $4.50 for two months.
