For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

I went and canceled my Hulu (with Disney) with ads as the price was going back up to $12 )my 2.99 deal for.the last 6 months for 'not canceling' was over. Then I clicked the 'Disney' like above and resigned up for the special using PayPal and it said it went through and I'd get an email (hoping this works)

Exactly. The whole thing is literally unbearable. Some shitty ads get repeated so much it gets on my nerves. I now mute ads n do something like get a glass of water in the 2 mins.

If you do this through HULU and not Disney you can also add Starz for .99/month. If you do it through Disney+, Starz is not an option. Same price but better deal if you sign up through Hulu

the starz addon doesn't have ads in the movies, just the live tv. Better picture than that HBO deal. So HULU wins with Starz for two bucks a month all year.
