For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Did Hulu recently start charging sales tax on the sub? My past monthly statements have all been $2.99 on the dot but this latest offer is $3.19 going forward.

i have 3 hulu accounts w/ diff emails that i have been alternating between over the years for this deal... currently none of them are eligible. cleared chache. tried private browser. any solution other than opening a 4th account?

There are never any BF deals for the ad free version on any streaming apps. Wonder why.
Peaccock does offer the ad free ad on for $6 with premium.

I was able to reuse an old account.

You may need to create a 4th account. See post 737

weird - hulu wouldnt let me sign up with either of my emails, so I clicked on the disney link, and was able to sign up there with the email I used last year.

Actually, I just checked, and hulu still says I'm not subscribed, but I got charged the $2.99 plus tax.
