For some reason, this took a little bit of work. I've had two previous accounts that I've been canceled, but I wouldn't give me the offer so I had to use an alternate email address and alternate credit card as well to get the offer to work.

The CEO just let slip on an earnings call that Disney makes more profit on the ad-supported version so the ad-free price was increased to drive people to the ad-supported version.

Maybe someone can help explain what I'm seeing:

When I click on the "only 99 cents" banner, it takes me to a billing page and shows that I will owe $9.99. Does that mean the promotion is not being applied, or am I misunderstanding how this works? Thank you.

Anyone else unable to get past the "Please Review & Accept Hulu Terms" part after going to hulu.com/activate? I click on the "Agree & Continue" button and absolutely nothing happens. Tried with both Firefox and Chrome.
