I got this last year for the grandkids. My experience with this track. - This track is a good idea, and the grandkids played with it a lot, at first. But, if the lift would go up just a little higher, the cars would go faster, and have a better chance to make it all the way down. As it is, only a few cars will actually make it around the curves and back down to the lift. Brand new cars did work better. But even one of the cars that came with the track didn't work very well. The longer cars get stuck on the curves, and the shorter, narrow cars don't always engage the lift all the way in. You can add on track, which does make it more fun. But, you have to have the right track that will connect correctly. This track does need to be pretty level, for both sides to work at the same time.
