I bought it and used it, the magnetic connection for the glasses makes it very inconsistent. I got 10 min of use before it turning off. The on board speakers sound awful and the arms are too large to fit over ear headphones around it. The XREAL Air is a better product without a doubt. Used it on a round trip 5 hr flight each way and it's a far more usable product for cheaper than this. I posted a bad review on amazon and the company harassed me for a good week to take it down and held my refund hostage.
Magnetic connection? Uhhh I think you are confusing this with the Viture maybe? There is no magnetic connection on this device. It's connected via USB C. The refreshed version 2s also has a USB C connection. You're probably getting these mixed up with another XR set.

Nobody is going to where these on flights or in hotel rooms lol. The Ray Bans absolutely do have functionality. I don't know why anyone would say they don't. They are smart glasses which means you can make phone calls with them, listen to music, take videos and pictures and use a personal assistant without having to take your phone out of your pocket...

The Ray Bans are not the same as these glasses but someone was making that comparison which is how that conversation got here. But now, these absolutely have less functionality or value than the raybans...
Wearing one of these on a flight looks just as silly as wearing sunglasses.

Ray Bans is for pervert if you use it in public. It is such a privacy violator.
Pretty ignorant statement there. If anyone is going to be a pervert, a smartphone would be less obvious and with better quality than RayBan smart sunglasses.

Wearing sunglasses indoors would be noticed and the view is wide for the POV look and a light flashes to indicate it is snapping a photo.

Using a smartphone, no one bats an eye since everyone has their face glued to one indoors or out. It has a 5x zoom or more for some models. There is no visual or audio indication a photo is being taken.

Perverts are going to perv, but these sunglasses aren't that useful for it.

I've got the Victure Pro and use it with my Steam Deck. Operating it is easy and the image quality is pretty good with some softness around edge. Audio sounds great. The ability to make the lens opaque and see the video only without seeing through the lens is nice.

This model looks even funnier though - like cartoon glasses in appearance. The spec is pretty impressive, but I'm not sure 200" screen is something I'd need. The 120" screen on the Victure is plenty. For the price, I'd recommend giving it a go. Being able to watch a movie or play your console while laying down is nice. Being able to see through the lens while watching a movie and doing housework makes for a better experience.

Anyone have this and wants to share real life experience using it.
They suck, you can't see the entire screen and a lot of it is out of focus which strains the eyes. They also get pretty warm and made my forehead sweat.

If it was this price for the AR2s then it would be slick. Regular AR not so much.

The Ray Bans are awesome. They look like... Ray Bans because they are Ray Bans. They aren't whatever these things are. They allow for hands free video recording which is really cool if you like to do product reviews or want to record video while driving or at an event where you don't want to hold your phone up.

It is not secretive recording anymore, there is a cue light that won't let you record if it's covered (I think this is a good thing personally). But I mainly use them to talk on the phone while I'm walking. Much better experience than having earbuds in since you aren't blocking out the other noise.

The meta Ray Bans also have a built in "AI" assistant which can answer basic questions and do other personal assistant tasks. One of the coolest features (albeit kind of scary) is that you can ask the glasses what you're looking at and it will describe it to you. May be a good feature for blind people honestly.
the ray bans are *NOT* awesome🤣 i tried them on and it was painfully obvious that they were a face worn device.

i suppose; with poor enough lighting - someone on a galloping horse might not realize they're not regular ray bans

This is essentially the same price as the original xreal airs right now. Could someone recommend either one? $200 is just about how much Im willing to spend on a pair of ar glasses right now. I plan on using them mostly with my pixel 9, legion go and windows pc. I dont plan on buying the accessories.

Still haven't figured out that it doesn't matter how "silly" you look. Your life will get a whole lot more fulfilling when you finally get it.

There is no such thing of privacy in public. What you wear on the beach is for public to see, not only for your own partner/friends to see. If you need privacy, go to your own place or restroom. People can record anything on public on put on social media without consent, because it is a public area. Don't act like a Karen.

That's your opinion. They work great for that and quick handsfree recording among other things. Obviously these glasses aren't the same at all so it's kind of irrelevant but I think we all know that nobody will ever where these RAYNEO's in public so they'll just be collecting dust.

The Ray Bans are indistinguishable from the regular ones unless you already know you're looking for them.
Are you getting payed to shill this or what
