I have this and 27k prime.

They are similar, but 737 is much more reliable.

- Prime throttles and doesn't keep max input or output, while 737 can charge and discharge at 140w all the way. And 140w is plenty - you will deplete power bank in 40 mins
- the % indicator is accurate on 737, but it's all over the place for prime, you cannot trust it.
- the 2nd usb-c port on 737 is out only, so it doesn't confuse 2-way devices.

I would choose this over the new prime until Anker fixes the glitches in 20k and 27k primes - probably in the next generation

I think this is the cheapest it has been for this particular power bank.

You can get high quality, reliable power banks with the same capacity for around $30 on sale if 60W is enough for you: INIU, Baseus, etc. I settled on the INIU one for laptop charging as it has the highest actual real life Wh capacity per gram of weight. (c. 72Wh of actual juice if I recall correctly.) It's been holding up well for the past year or so.

https://www.amazon.com/INIU-Charg...280&sr=8-4

This thing goes on sale once every other months for around $29.99. YouTube reviews (by people who test actual real life Wh capacity and Watts of output) are good.

I've had nothing but problems with the newer versions of these but the 737 I have is going strong and hasn't given me any problems

Hmm I bought the $99 Anker prime 27,650 deal. Should I keep it or get this one?

For what it is worth, this one keeps you under the limit for taking on a plane, assuming 3.7V is how they calculate the Wh rating... 24,000mAh*3.7V = 88.8Wh (< 100Ah limit for flying). This is one advantage over that 27,650Ah model I suppose. I personally wish they would include an XT-60 input on a little unit like this for an ultra compact solar setup...

Both models are under 100Wh so they're both eligible to be carried onto a plane.

I must have missed something then... Check my math: 27650Ah * 3.7V = 102.305Wh...?

Ok, so before you call me wrong, let's just both agree something is fishy with the numbers they advertise... I had a look in the Amazon product page, and one review video briefly showed the bottom of the battery bank, and it showed 99.54Wh, derived from 3950mAh*25.2V, so go figure... This is not something easily seen on the product page... Yeesh. So I stand corrected (and frustrated with these games).

It does seem like they were determined to keep it right below, at least on paper.

They kept it under 100wh by rating the 27650mah model at 3.6v

I have this model since 2022. Used on Mac book pro, switch, Legon Go portable, deck, iphone, etc.. and has never let me down. Does help with having the display to see the wattage output, and timer till the power bank can be charged.

This is the best battery bank I have used. It can do almost 4 full recharges for the Pixel 7.
