When in doubt, search the game on CheapShark.com [cheapshark.com]. They only list authorized 3rd party resellers and do not list any shady gray market sites (like Kinguin, G2A, CDKeys, etc.)

GamersGate is on the list, so this is definitely safe.

That being said, GameBillet.com [gamebillet.com] has the game for $17.39, the lowest price it has ever been in the history of being listed. Personally, I opted for Fanatical [fanatical.com] as I shop there often and almost always have a 5% coupon off my next purchase in my inbox. Fanatical purchase came to $16.85 plus a free spin for their Black Friday deals (I got $1 off my next purchase).
