You're paying tax on the full value of the phone ($449), so it's $99 after a trade in, but taxed as if it's full price.

Mine jumped from $99 to $143.99 (CA Tax)

Caution - They might decline trade in credit and charge back $350 on you (people got burned with this before). That will make a refurbished S21 an absolutely disaster deal.

I will give it a hard pass on this "deal", period.

S21 came with 3 years of Android upgrades. It should get Android 15 before losing support next year. The S22 came with 5 years of Android upgrades, plus 2 additional years of security updates. I'd go with the S22.

Yup, 22 sold out right as I was going to buy it. I was going to get it as a gift for my daughter. I ended up going with the 23 for her. It's $100 more but it looks like it's quite a big gain in performance versus the 22.

Stay away from s22. The battery suck when new. Can't get through the day without charging with light use. Go for s23 and thank me later.

Come on, where is the s2*u upgrade deal, with trading in last generation of s2*u + $200. I am waiting for that type of deal. It used to happen multiple times a year... none so far this year..
