These are fantastic.
Yes, the vacuum tubes light up in addition to the green leds. Green LEDs cannot be turned off, that's a pain in bedrooms etc.
Surprisingly good sound quality, pretty good bass. Elevated highs, warm mids. Bass is good, but you could hear port chuffing at higher volumes. Distortion free mostly.
No issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Featured NFC but I could never make it work. There's direct digital input (usb-mini? Printer cable) but not sure about the dac. Plus 3.5mm audio cable.
Units heavy, looks good.
Touch control buttons suck, easy to miss.
Volume resets to 50% on power on.
There's an LED indicator which shows input and power status which is nice.
Here's a review from Meh.com, I guess they sold a batch around 2020.

As a general breakdown, I have been through a lot of speakers. And I mean A LOT. I got into home theater again about 5-6 years ago and that has taken me down a continuous path of upgrades. Finally settling on some decently higher end speakers for the last couple setups I have pieced together, I had a natural spinoff interest in high end sound equipment. Ultimately, this hobby has had at least one result; I have heard some truly terrible speakers and I have heard speakers that made me have a euphoric experience when I heard music played through them. There are speakers that I own that are off brand treasures all the way up to my home theater setup. I'm never going to claim to be an audiophile but rather a lifelong learner and someone who is interested in experiencing what is available.
All of that being said, this speaker blew me away with the short time I spent with it. This isn't because of how incredible the build quality is (it is mediocre honestly). It isn't even how amazing the sound reproduction is (I haven't taken any measurements). My impressions are based on how good it sounds out of the box for a speaker you can get for $30. It is a full sounding speaker and one to two of these would be more than enough for must folks in the kitchen or living room.
The touch controls are 'meh' and the volume resets to a default level with every power cycle. You know what? I don't mind at this price.
I also ordered a JBL 110 and got it in the mail yesterday. I was playing it today and I realized that at no point did I get the feeling of joy and "wow" that I got out of this speaker. Don't get me wrong, the JBL is a far superior device and a completely different use case speaker in every way. I think I was more excited for this speaker because I honestly didn't expect it to be any good. I wouldn't spend $70 on it (because I really didn't need it in the first place) but at $30, I think this might be one of the slickest deals I have managed to grab this holiday season.
At some point I will upgrade the tubes just for funsies and continue experimenting with it. Until then, I think anyone who wants a tabletop speaker in the house or for a Christmas gift, this budget option is hard to beat and tops my list as a favorite purchase for me as of late.
UPDATE: At $15, this is a slick deal. I went ahead and grabbed another just to have on hand as a Christmas gift.

EDIT: I did find one individual who purchased this speaker under a 3rd brand as a "Thompson Hybrid Vacuum Tube Speaker". He confirmed that the tubes are active and in all likelihood pre amp.
