Find me a seller on Amazon that is an authorized Milwaukee retailer. I bet you can't. Being unauthorized means that their source of product is dubious (fake, stolen, returned, grey market, etc.). The warranty, if any at all, will also be impacted.

That one's not the FUEL version. The reviews between the two are night and day with the FUEL version coming out as a greatly superior tool.

That is for the non fuel version of the tool. From my experience in having the m12 line of tools, some of the tools are ok to have in the non fuel version but this is not one of them.

It dies it dies. If I have to worry about one of the most expensive brand tools to die within the warranty period I just buy the cheap knock off at 1/5th the price, and those by the way didn't die on me yet. However, milwaukee still covers warranty based in serial number anyway, regardless where you buy it.

If the serial number is fake or associated with an unauthorized inventory channel, the warranty could be non-existent. If it is a good serial number, and you don't have a valid receipt from an authorized vendor, they'll go by the date of manufacture, which depending on how that unauthorized vendor got the product, could've been a long time ago resulting in very little remaining warranty.

At the same price, you can do the home depot sale to get 2-Tool Milwaukee M12 Oscillating Multi-Tool w/ 2x 3.0 Ah and cancel the extra battery
