Amazon is offering a cheap but very decent quality alternative to Bose QuietComfort SC (which is also on sale at Costco for $170 and listed here on slickdeals). These are Consumer Reports recommended with a CR score of 73 compared to 75 for Bose QuietComfort SC. Bought a pair last week and wore them while on vacation all week and was very happy with them, although I've never owned Bose so can't provide first-person comparison.

It has been $40 Prime Exclusive price for almost a year and periodically $40 for everyone. I bought it Renewed from Newegg for $26 (which is the current price and also seems to be a recurring price) and I like it (I'm no audiophile).

Hows the microphone quality on these? Looking for something for zoom/phone calls. Picked up the Anker p20i last week and not impressed.

Anker tends to have decent microphones but lacks background noise filtering. It'll be comfortable on your ears and block out outside noise so you can hear but the other end might not hear as good. The worse anker mic are on the soundcores. The flip side is the battery life are amazing. The first thing to go for me were the ear cuffs (mostly due to me abusing them tossing them all over and shoving them in and out of backpacks.

Don't expect these to last more than 2 years. the fake leather on mine fell apart suddenly and quickly.
